It is 2020, there appears to be a serious absence of understanding on the various roles and responsibilities within a project, especially in delivering radio networks.

The remarkable paradox is that clients’ inability to untangle subjective schemas from objective reality, and their inability to accurately assume or understand, in an attempt to save time and costs; this mindset does the absolute opposite. It delays projects. It increases the overall costs of the project; 10‒200% is a typical range. The radio network version of the Opal Tower.

The purpose of this presentation is to provide guidance around the importance of a Program Director/Manager, Project Director, Project Manager, Project Engineer, Installation Contractor and Maintenance Technician.

The principal focus of the presentation will be on the responsibility and relationship between Project Engineer, Installation Contractor and Maintenance Technician. Client- initiated breakdown of project relationship between these parties is the greatest project risk — causing project program delays and variations, and departure from their business and operational requirements; what the project was to achieve for them.
