Industry 4.0 is happening now and is impacting both mission- and business-critical networks. Estimates indicate that industries will need to connect 13bn IIoT endpoints in industrial sites within the next 2 years. Analysing this volume of data to create true insights requires an underlying robust, reliable and secure network.

The move to LTE-based broadband networks for mission/business-critical communications needs to be accelerated.  Waiting for 5G is not an option, and 4.9G already brings a major step change compared to existing legacy networks and IT wireless technologies (Wi-Fi) used today.

5G will bring even greater bandwidth and reduced latency. We are already seeing a number of countries rolling out their 5G networks. For mission-critical applications you can begin your journey with a 3GPP standards based LTE network with the confidence of knowing you can migrate to 5G.

This presentation will share trends, use cases and examples from around the world showing how you can build your current broadband network today to meet your future needs.
