Jonathan consults on the design, build, and operation of broadband, public safety, and Internet of Things networks. His customers are operators, governments, NGOs, and demanding users throughout the Asia Pacific region, and his projects have spanned 30 economies. He’s an approved radio engineer in New Zealand (ARE159). With organisations including APNIC, ICTP, ITU, and NSRC he’s lectured on network and wireless engineering throughout the Asia Pacific region. In 2011 he exited Araneo, a wholesale microwave telco he founded in 2004. Araneo lives on today as part of New Zealand’s Vital group.
